Acorn Lodge was immaculate and very much a home from home with everything you need. Nicola left lots of information about the electrical goods and areas to visit along with recommendations for eateries. The park is lovely with a good amount of green areas for dog walks.

Just come back from an idyllic week in Acorn Lodge . Everything was perfect and we didnt want to come home ! The owner was so helpful to us when we arrived and familiarised ourselves with the lodge , especially helpful connecting to the WiFi for us technophobes ! I would love to come back, to cure our post holiday blues ! Thank you so much for a wonderful week !

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Acorn Lodge. Upon arrival the lodge was lovley and clean. The hot tub was at 40 and lodge nice and warm. A nice welcome gift waiting for us too, a bottle of prosecco & celebrations chocolates. The lodge has everything you need, including washing machine, dish washer, air fryer etc and plenty of platescutlerycupsglasses. We didn't actually need to take anything... cleaning products, bin bags, toilet rolls, tea towels, plenty of bath towels etc all provided. The hot tub is nice & private and maintains a toasty 40 which was lovely in the dark clear sky on an evening. The location was perfect just a 2 minute walk the Crazy Horse pub restaurant. In terms of price, I've stayed at other lodges which were practically the same at this site however they were nearly twice the price and I can honestly say this lodge was just as nice if not better for a lot less money. The host Nicola was really great and informative and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended!

Amazing Lodge! !! I spent a week here with my daughter and two grand children. We didnt want to come home. The lodge was like home from home !! The beds were really comfy , not the small size but full standard size beds. The hot tub was amazing !! Owners left prosecco and chocolates. The crazy horse pub was a hit with the kids and the adults . Brilliant base for Northumberland , we went to the zoo, barter books , Alnwick and Alnmouth beach . Lodge very spacious , lots of nice little touches, everything we needed. The park itself has a lovely feel about it . Will definately return to Acorn Lodge. Lovely stay nice clean lodge good communication with owners, would definitely stay again, fantastic beaches and castles nearby.

Lovely holiday at this property thank you so much. The indoor games room on site could benefit from upgrading and maintenance but the property itself was perfect and we would not hesitate to return.
