Lochside Garden House Reviews

Our needs were well met. We were looking for a place where our mixed age extended family could gather and this was ideal. We enjoyed the grounds, the piano, the books, and our dog had a great time. The house is old, and this can come with issues but the owner was friendly and quick to fix problems. With lively children and a dog we appreciated not needing to be too nervous. It felt like a well inhabited house.

I rented the property so the whole family could holiday together. My wife's family is from the local area, and the house was ideally suited as a base camp while we split up and toured Scotland.

The location is absolutely stunning!!! The history of the beautiful house is magnificent, it has a lovely energy about it all. I couldn't fault it in all honesty, things are a bit old and run down, such as the hot tub and furniture but overall everyone enjoyed our stay and no one had any complaints ?? (we were a group of 12 ladies) The views are breathtaking, with plenty of lovely walks and wildlife. Even having the boat available to use on the Loch ???????? Edward was an absolute gentleman and even allowed us to have a later check out! Could not thank him enough. Highly recommend and will most certainly will use again myself!
