Ravenslaw House Reviews

Claire
We had an awesome weekend with our family, a group of 15 spanning from 10 to 78. The house was super well-equipped, perfect for cooking and chilling. The bedrooms are massive with en-suites, which was a real bonus. The hot tub and sauna added a bit of luxury. It's only a 10-minute walk into townand Katie left a lovely welcome pack. She was easy to reach if needed, though we didn't have any issues. Definitely a great spot for big groups. Cheers!
Julia
We had a fantastic stay with 16 of us in June 2024. The hosts were super friendly and really helpful throughout. The kitchen, hot tub, saunaand all the extras exceeded our expectations. Honestly, I'd recommend this place to anyone planning a big get-together. It was awesome!

Wow, what a lovely place! The house really has so much charm and is spotlessly clean, with everything you could need. All the rooms are en-suite, which is a big bonus. The garden is perfect for relaxing or BBQs, dog-friendly and secure. Parking is generous and the location is brilliant - just a short walk into Alnwick for shops, cafesand restaurants. The coast's stunning beaches are also nearby. We loved it so much, we're coming back next year. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing weekend at Ravenslaw House with our group of 18! The place is absolutely massive but still feels really warm and welcoming. The decor and furnishings perfectly match its historic vibeand even though we saw the photos beforehand, we were still blown away when we arrived. Everything we needed was there, plus a lovely welcome basket. The owner was great to deal with too. No complaints at all - definitely recommend for a big gathering!
Lauren
We had an awesome stay at Ravenslaw! The place felt super cosyand we loved having the option to light fires in both the living and dining rooms - really added to the atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with loads of utensils and gadgets, perfect for cooking big meals. The hot water was plentiful, even with 14 of us. The sauna and hot tub were a real hitand there was plenty of parking. Definitely would book again with Holiday Cottages - staff were really helpful too!

Our group has been holidaying together for over two decadesand Ravenslaw House definitely stands out. It's so well equipped, super warmand spotless - we felt right at home. Katie was lovely and incredibly helpful; she really made the stay special. We did have a tiny issue with the hot tub, but a quick message to her and it was sorted in no time. Overall, a fantastic place for a Christmas get-together. We'd happily return!
Emma
We loved this place! Perfectly situated in the heart of town, making exploring easy. We spent our days popping to nearby historic spots, stopping for tea, cakeand lunch. The house was cosy and had all we needed. Can't wait to return!
James
We recently stayed in Alnwick with the family and had a really lovely time. The house's location was perfect - close enough to walk into the centre but still peaceful. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well-equipped, which was handy. That said, the place is starting to look a bit tired and clutteredand could use some sprucing up. It was a bit chillyand one bathroom only had lukewarm water, but overall, the beds were comfy and we enjoyed our stay!
