Beadnell village is a popular choice for families and friends getting together for a seaside holiday in Northumberland. The stunning, golden beach is an easy walk and the beautiful, crescent-shaped Beadnell Bay boasts plenty of sand dunes for games of hide and seek and picnics. For adventurous visitors, there are always some spectacular watersports on offer to watch or take part in - and you can cycle, walk or drive along this beautiful stretch of coastline, with horse riding and golf opportunities also available in the area. A trip to see the seals at the Farne Islands is a must from the bustling village of Seahouses, with a great range of shops, bars and restaurants all in the vicinity. The magnificent Bamburgh Castle is a mere 3 miles away and a fantastic place to visit, shop and eat - while the market town of Alnwick, famous for its castle and water gardens, is only 12 miles.
